Item #ME-1400 and MSA (Snare Adapter)

Thanks for your interest in Puresound Wires for your marching snare drum. Our #ME-1400 marching snare wires in conjunction with the MSA (snare Adapter) allow you to update your marching or pipe snare drum to our snare wires. Our system works on most marching and pipe snare drums. The difference between manufacturers is the thread size on the tension knob and you should specify what model snare drum so the correct snare adapter is used.

Installation:

Loosen the tension on your snare strainer and remove the old wires. Our adapter set has the butt end and strainer end. The butt and strainer both have retainer clips that the #ME-1400 wires fit over and lock in. With the wires on the butt end slide them through the butt assembly and then attach the strainer side adapter and feed them into the strainer side and begin lining up and tightening the strainer tension knob until the desired tension is acquired. Fits most Dynasty, Pearl and Yamaha corps-style marching snare drums as well as Pearl and Premier Pipe Band drums.
