This is a very nice and rare snare drum. It belongs to an old time drummer Chuck Davis. Chuck was the drummer that played at the burning of the old Slingerland House! Click here to see the pictures.

This drum has a single ply shell with a 3-point strainer and extended butt side. The Strainer is an earlier version with the thumb screw. A drummer could lower the strainer arm below the hoop so it was not hit while playing. It has Sound King lugs and a gold Chicago Badge. The hoops are COB Stick savers.
